SERENITY HOUSE AT NALUVULE FOR RENT

Serenity House sits on grounds 150ft long by 100ft wide.

The Lounge

is 6.4m by 6.6m = 42 square meters (21ft x21ft =441 Sq.ft)  and is tiled with marble.  The front wall is all sliding glass doors with the addition of mosquito doors and  beautiful floor length curtains. The glass doors open onto a 9m x3m (30ft x 9ft) terrace running the full length of the lounge as a well as a veranda leading to the steps to the front lawn and gardens. Thus the front elevation gives a good view of the lawn with its fruit trees and on to a series of wooded hills in the distance.

The Dining Room

is 5m by 5m =25 m2  (16ftx16ft) and is tiled.  It has two large windows (1.5m/6.5ft) and a beautiful wooden six-seater dining table.  It leads onto a covered triangular terrace 3m/10ft by  4m/13ft  and onto the car porch with space for 2 cars and the yard area with room for 5 cars. It also faces a beautiful sculpted hedgerow and the kitchen garden.
The Kitchen is shaped like a diamond and is 7.7m/25ft from one corner to the other on the longer side, with two 2m (6.5ft) wide windows. It has black built-in kitchen units on three sides and eye level units with glass doors on one side. It has all modern appliances: washing machine, dishwasher, electric cooker, gas plates, 6-foot fridge and 6-foot freezer, deep fryer, double toaster, breadmaker, as well as a full complement of stainless steel pans, cutlery and crockery. Off the kitchen is a pantry with shelving. There is a large terrace 4m by 11m (14ft by 20ft)  outside the kitchen and green lawns as well as walkways creating a beautiful area for preparing your meals. Bedrooms:

Double Bedrooms 1 and 2 are 3.3m by 4.8m (12ft by 16ft).  They are carpeted with built in floor to ceiling wardrobes/storage down one wall. T There is also a Single Bedroom.  These bedrooms share a bathroom.


The Master Bedroom

leads off the central area through a corridor 4.6m long by 1.9m wide (6.5ft by 5ft) m into a study area 2.5m by 2.9m (8ft by 9.5ft).  The master bedroom has a set of double glass doors leading to a balcony that faces the front of the property with a view to the lawn and the wooded hills.  There is a large windows 2m (6.5ft) wide, with floor to ceiling lined curtains to keep the bedroom cool in the heat.  There is wall to wall carpeting as well as floor to ceiling wardrobes/storage  down one wall. In addition there is a separate secure storage room  off the study area. All the glass doors and windows are sliding and have built-in mosquito nets. In addition, the 5-ft bed has a mosquito net and there is a ceiling fan to ensure the circulation of fresh air. Off the bedroom is a bathroom with a bathtub and an electric shower. 

The Compound

There are green manicured lawns all round the house. The front lawn alone is 30m by 9.3m (95ft by 30ft). There are also mature fruit trees: two mangos, two guavas, two oranges (Valencia and Navel).  There are also flowering and decorative plants, such as palm trees, as well as a kitchen/herb garden.

Security

The glass doors and windows of the entire house are all fitted with burglar-proofing for added security. There is a perimeter wall and a secure double door gate. In addition there is a lovely guard dog that patrols the compound at night to deter intruders.  When required, the caretaker can stay on site for extra security.
