DESCRIPTION
The safari lodge is found in Kyambura parish, Kichwamba Sub County, Rubirizi district in the western part of Uganda, adjacent to the great Queen Elizabeth National Park. To be more precise, the resort is located on the arms of the western Rift valley (Kyambura escarpment).
The safari lodge is seated on 5.7 acres with ten (10) cottages(All self contained with beddings and bath tabs), a swimming pool, Main restaurant(with 1 TV screen), a lobby and dinning and Kitchen, ten (10) staff and guide rooms, a parking lot, gardens and approximately 2 acres for expansion.
ACCOMODATIONS AT THE SAFARI LODGE:
The Resort offers accommodation in 10 luxurious thatched cottages on a beautiful stretch of hills overlooking the open Savannah in serene and relaxing atmosphere. Each specious cottage was hand crafted using locally availbale materials and carved into the hillside by the Kyambura Orpanage and Kataara Womens Group. The cottages combine wooden floors, grass tahtched roots and canvas that can be folded away for uninterrupted views of the park stretching out below. Our water is heated using solar therm.
